We Got a PINK Vtech Tote N’ Go Laptop By Mistake!
Funny story about our Vtech Tote n’ Go Laptop, we didn’t get the one that we ordered but we ended up keeping it anyway because it really didn’t make a difference in the end. We ordered our son the orange Vtech Tote n’ Go Laptop but we ended up getting the pink one by mistake. This was a bit of a concern at first; but turns out, it wasn’t even an issue. My 15-month-old son didn’t care that it was pink and personally, none of us did either, it was still a cool toy.
Our toddler is always, always trying to get his hands on my laptop so I wanted to get him something that looked like a real laptop and this was the closest one I could find for babies. I liked that it has the little mouse he could click, that was important because my baby loves to click the real computer mouse and he would have noticed if his computer didn’t have one.

Fun, Educational Activities on the Vtech Tote N’ Go Laptop
The keyboard has the letters in order, unlike a traditional keyboard, which I personally like because at their age, they need to know the alphabet in order. The number keys go acorns the top, like a traditional keyboard, underneath those are the alphabet keys. The Vtech Tote ‘n Go Laptop is very sturdy yet light-weight to carry. It folds up so that you can tote it along, the mouse is attached to it at all times so you can’t lose it. The mouse has an area under the laptop that it sticks to so that it’s not always dangling from the toy.
Babies Love the Vtech Tote N’ Go Laptop, Even if it’s PINK!
The suggested age of this Vtech Tote ‘n Go Laptop says from ages 3-6 years, but like I said, I have a 15-month old baby who can’t keep his hands off the computer, so this laptop is perfect for him. He can’t play all the games just yet because he’s too little but our 6 year old son can, so it’s a win-win.
The Vtech Tote ‘n Go Laptop has four modes of play and within each mode is a series of 7 or 8 activities. The different modes are “letters, numbers, logic and games” and in each mode you can play activities that help your child in those areas of development. The four different modes each have a large button at the bottom of the laptop below the keyboarding area. Each of the big buttons is colored and labeled with that mode.
Vtech Tote N’ Go Laptop Modes of Play
When you select a mode of play, you are then prompted to choose an activity, the activities are listed on the laptop next to the screen area. Each mode of play has 7 or 8 activities to choose from, each one designed to help you learn more about letters, numbers, and logic (critical thinking). The “Games” mode has simple games like Tic, Tac, Toe and some musical fun. Being that there are so many different activities in each mode of play, the fun is really never ending.
This Vtech Tote ‘n Go Laptop has kept my two boys entertained in the car for long periods of time. It’s pretty much our go-to car toy for them because it keeps them busy. Even the toddler finds enjoyment in it because it looks like a real laptop to him. Even though the suggest age is three years old, I see no reason that a younger child couldn’t enjoy it too.
Choose your Vtech Tote N Go Laptop!
There are different versions of this laptop available, the one we have is the older model and the newer one is featured here as well. The main difference in the two is the ability to actually connect to your computer. The newer version of the VTech Laptop Tote N Go connects to the web via your PC. We chose the 2010 version because we liked the bigger activity mode buttons at the bottom, we felt it was the better model for us. Which one will you choose? Pink, orange? Newer model that connects to the web or the older version that has bigger, brighter buttons?
