We Got an Intex Baby Blow Up Pool for Summer!
we originally bought this pool in 2014 in pink for our 18-month old son because pink is all we could find and this was the BEST baby blow up pool. It really IS the best pool because we bought the pink one because we liked the soft bottom and sturdy edges and when we had another baby, we didn’t hesitate to buy the SAME pool again! This time we bought the pool for our 7 month old son, Joshua.
We have a big pool outside but he’s too small, so we got the same pool for him. The soft bottom is perfect against the hard concrete next to the pool. Josh can sit up on his own but he’s definitely a bit wobbly still so I never leave his side.
I love that this little pool is square and it has really soft edges. The bottom of the this pool is nice and soft against the hard, flat surface of the ground. I barely put any water in it for our little guy because he just wants to get wet.
The rigid bumpy bottom is great because it makes it harder to slip. As you can see by the picture, there’s a lot of room for Josh to play inside the pool. We could easily fit another little guy in there if we wanted too. I use this almost every day because the baby has his own pool to play in safely away from the bigger the kids.
This is a Sturdy Baby Blow Up Pool
Our baby can lean against the side of the pool and it will hold him up. Joshua is seven months old and he can sit up on his own.
Buy a Intex Baby Blow Up Pool Online – It’s Cheaper!
This is the baby swimming pool that we bought. There were a lot of cute ones available but we went with something simple because we like the padded bottom and edges on this pool.
- Square shape
- Soft padded bottom and edge
- 33.5″ H x 33.5″ W x 9″ D
- Available in pink and (sometimes green)
There were quite a few baby swimming pools to choose from online opposed to the choices we had locally, so we decided to get one. Intex makes good pools, we have a snap pool for kids made by this brand and it’s been good to us, we didn’t hesitate buying another one of these blow up pools.
Sturdy Pool Sides for a Baby
The square shape was an added bonus because the corner is a nice place to sit up. Our baby is 7 months old in these pictures and he can sit up nicely in the corner or against the side. The pool is 33.5 inches high.
What Age is the Intex Baby Pool Geared Towards?
It’s for babies 6 months & up. The side of the pool says to supervise children under 5 years old because they have the greatest chance of drowning, and while I agree… you have to watch the older kids too… my 10 year old decided to take it for a cruise.
Where to Buy Blow Up Baby Swimming Pools?
We bought ours on Amazon because we couldn’t find a good one locally. The problem with finding a pool locally is that they don’t keep them in stock long. It’s a seasonal item and you would think that being summertime, they would have them in stock, but once July rolls around, back-to-school inventory comes out and all the summer stuff is gone. If you’re looking for a blow up kiddie pool in July, August, or September months, you have to go online because most stores are already bringing out the next seasonal items. Where I live, it’s still hot outside and there are no pools anywhere to be found unless I go to Leslie’s Pool Supplies and spend a fortune. No, thank you. That’s why I love Amazon, they carry these blow up kiddie pools all year long.
