Tyler received a Let’s Imagine Elmo Doll from his grandma for his 2nd birthday. I think most living and breathing 2 year old children love Elmo, so naturally it was a big hit with him. As soon as he took it out of the box he exclaimed, “Elmo!” Tyler couldn’t wait for his daddy to wrestle Let’s Imagine Elmo out of the crazy plastic protection packaging. Let’s Imagine Elmo comes with three different hats; a crown, sailors hat and cowboy hat. The Let’s Imagine Elmo Doll can talk, sing and interact with your child. When you put a hat on him, he switches into a different mode of imaginative play. Let’s Imagine Elmo talks and sings when you press the button on his belly. He has a bright yellow shirt on with a big star in the center where the button is. On the bottom of Elmo there is a switch that turns Elmo on and off. I love that you can turn Let’s Imagine on or off. Right? Imaginary fun with Elmo can also be silent, and silence is golden.
Let’s Imagine Talking Elmo Doll is Interactive
Let’s Imagine Elmo comes with three different hats that change his imaginative mode. Elmo comes with batteries already in him, so he works right out of the box. He talks, sings, counts and plays games when you press his belly. Just the fact that he talks will light your toddler up brighter than a Christmas Tree.
Let’s Imagine Elmo Doll Talks
Let’s Imagine Crown Hat: The crown is for “Prince Elmo” mode where Elmo plays a game similar to Simon Says called “Prince Elmo Says.” The crown is the hat Elmo is wearing when you take him out of the box.
Let’s Imagine Elmo Cowboy Hat: The cowboy hat turns Elmo into a counting cowboy. There is a game where you squeeze Elmo’s nose and he counts along with you. Cowboy Elmo can count to 20 and sing songs. “Well, Howdy Partner”
Let’s Imagine Elmo Sea Captain’s Hat: When the Sea Captains hat is placed on Elmo he turns into a captain of the sea and starts singing, “Sailing, sailing ” song. Captain Elmo has a sea sounds identification game that he plays with your child.
Let’s Imagine Elmo Doll Hats
Each of the three hats has a special molded shape on the tip, when you stick them on Elmo’s head he knows which hat he is wearing. The hats are not that easy to take on and off for a 2 year old. I have to help him with it. It would be easier for children that are older to do than it is for a toddler. Let’s Imagine Elmo works with or without his hats. My son often sits with him turned off and watched TV along side him. Let’s Imagine Elmo sits up on his own, he has a flat bottom butt that allows him to be self-siting.
Elmo Toddler Dolls
Lets Imagine Elmo has been a hit with our toddler. I’m just happy that this talking Elmo doll has an “off” switch! I don’t think any child between the ages of 18 months and 4 years would turn down an Elmo doll. Especially this one because it talks, sings, counts and plays games.
