Our Spiderman Mega City Tower Play Set Review!
Tyler only wanted one thing for Christmas and that was a Spiderman City Tower.
The reviews on the thing were not that great but it really doesn’t matter when you’re 5 year old REALLY wants it.
The Spiderman City Tower is as tall as Tyler when it’s put together, it’s 46-inches high!
There are 4 stories of action built into this set, plus a jail with webbed cell bars!
Putting this thing together was no easy feat, I had my brother over who puts together aircraft parts for a living and even he was a bit stumped.
There are tons of parts to this thing, it’s no joke. The directions seemed like something to operate the NASA space shuttle, but we got it!
Avoid This Spiderman Tower Bummer!
The box shows Spiderman and Venom on the box. Even the TV commercials shows these two battling it out in Spider-man City Tower.
Guess who wasn’t included with this set?! I was so upset when I found out Christmas morning the figures were not included because we didn’t have any and all the stores were sold out.
Tyler Loves the Spider-Man Mega City Tower!
My son still had a great time with the tower for hours even with out the figures. But come on!! It wasn’t cheap for this toy, and to not include the figures when they are plastered all over the box and toy – that was just mean! Yes, it does say they’re not included but whose reading that with all the Spidey action going on?
I would have returned this if my 5 year old hadn’t loved it so much. He didn’t care that there were no figures.
Any toy that keeps Tyler this happy and in one place can’t be that bad. He sat and played for hours and if you look at all the details in this toy, you can see why.
4-Stories of Spider-Man Excitement!
This is the Spider-Man City Tower that we bought here. It’s 46-inches high! (Almost 4-feet). The details are impeccable, my son had so much imaginary fun with this playset. I have detailed pictures below of most of the scenery in this city.
- 4-Story zip line
- Web swinging all around
- Trap doors
- Secret compartments
- Bank Vault, ATM, Spinning Billboard Signs
He Loves the Spiderman Jail In This Playset
The Spideman jail is attached to the side of the 4-story tower. You could say, it’s on the ground level or bottom floor.
The jail has these webbed cell bars and a trap door on the top.
Spiderman Tower First Floor ATM
The ATM is located on the first floor of the tower. The door opens and closes. The jail is located to the right of this ATM.
Spiderman Mega City Tower Bank Vault
There’s a bank with a big vault door that opens and closes.
Spider City Sewer Trap Door
There’s a sewer trap door on the second story of this building that drops you to the first floor.
Spiderman City Third Floor Laboratory
This little secret lab is hidden behind a building. There’s a ladder leading up to it.
Spiderman City Turning Signs
High up at the top, somewhere around the third and fourth story, there’s these spinning billboard signs. We accidentally put Spider-man upside down but after we thought about, he’s usually upside-down anyway.
Spider-man Hanging Out
This was my sons favorite part of the whole thing if you saw his video. He loves to put Spiderman on this web and swing him 360 degrees around the tower.
Here’s Tyler’s Video (See It Upclose)
Get the Spiderman 6-Inch Action Figure
This is the action figure we bought. They are hard to find. (for Venom see below for the one we bought)
EXACT Spider-Man Toys We Bought For This Playset
We got the 6-inch Spider-Man homecoming figure. A venom and motorcycle (yes, they are two pieces) and the city tower playset. I feel like having a bad guy is essential to this set because there’s the jail and everything. Plus, Venom’s picture is all over this Spider-Man Mega City Tower play set.
